How to Setup a SR506N/SR516ac/SR616ac:
In a web browser go to 192.168.1.1
Click on Manage Gateway
Login: admin/admin
On the left-hand menu click on Advanced Setup
Select WAN service
Remove BOTH WAN services
On the left-hand menu click on Layer 2 Interface
Select ATM interface
Delete the ATM interface
Select PTM interface
Delete the PTM interface
Determine what speed you have (15/1, 6/1, 50/10 etc)
ADSL (upload is 1Mbps or lower)
Select ATM interface
Click the ADD button
Click Apply/Save
On the left-hand menu click on WAN service
Click the ADD button
Make sure ATM0 is selected in the drop-down menu and click next
On the next screen click next
Enter the PPPoE username and password and click Next, Next, Next, Apply
Reboot the modem
VDSL (upload is above 1Mbps)
Select PTM interface
Click the ADD button
Click Apply/Save
On the left-hand menu click on WAN service
Click the ADD button
Make sure PTM0 is selected in the drop-down menu and click next
On the next screen click enter 0 for the 8-2.1P Priority and 35 for the VLAN ID
Enter the PPPoE username and password and click Next, Next, Next, Apply
Reboot the modem
