Please follow the instructions below for your email program.


Windows Live Mail:


  1. Click on Accounts
  2. Click on Email

    Enter your full email address and enter your email password (check off “remember this password”)
    Type in your display name
    Check the box that reads "Manually configure server settings"

  3. Click Next

    Server Settings:
    Server Type: IMAP
    Incoming server address: mail.truespeed.ca
    Port: 993
    Check off the box that reads "require a secure connection" (SSL)
    Authenticate using "Clear Text"
    Logon username: (full email address)

    Outgoing server address: smtp.truespeed.ca
    Port: 465
    Check off the box that "requires a secure connection" (SSL)
    Check off "requires authentication"

  4. Click Next
  5. Click Finish

Thunderbird:

  1. Click on the symbol located on the top right hand corner of the screen. (see screenshot below)
  2. Select Options
  3. Select Account Settings
  4. Select Account Actions: Add mail account
  5. Fill in your name, full email address, email password (check off remember password)
  6. Select Continue
  7. Select Manual Configuration
  8. Fill in the incoming/outgoing email server settings:

    Incoming: IMAP Server Hostname (mail.truespeed.ca)
    Port:993
    SSL/TLS Autheticaion: Normal Password

    Outgoing: SMTP Server Hostname (smtp.truespeed.ca)
    Port: 465 SSL/TLS
    Authentication: Normal Password
    Username: (full email address)

  9. Select Done


Outlook 2007:


  1. Select Tools-> Account Settings
  2. Select New in the upper left corner
  3. Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP
  4. Select Next
  5. Enter the following details:
       
        Your name
        Email Address
        Password
        Re-type Password

  6. Check the box next to the option to Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next
  7. Select Internet Email and click Next
  8. Fill in the required fields:

        User Information:

        Your name
        Email address

        Server Information:

        Account Type: Select IMAP
        Incoming mail server: mail.truespeed.ca
        Outoing Mail server (SMTP): smtp.truespeed.ca

        Logon Information:

        User Name: (full email address)
        Password: (email password)
        Check the box Remember Password

  9. Select More Settings
  10. Go to the Outgoing Server Tab and check the box My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Also, make sure the radio button is checked next to Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
  11. Select the Advanced Tab
       
        Incoming server (IMAP) 993
        (check off the box this server requires an encrypted connection SSL)
       
        Outgoing server (SMTP) 465
        (use the following type of encypted connection: SSL/TLS)

  12. Select OK
  13. Click Next
  14. Click Finish


Outlook 2016:

  1. Open Outlook and click File
  2. Click Add account
  3. Type in your email address
  4. Click on Advanced options.
  5. Select Connect
  6. Select IMAP
  7. Enter your email password
  8. Enter the email server settings:


    Incoming mail server: mail.truespeed.ca
    Port: 993
    Encryption Method: SSL/TLS

    Outgoing mail server: smtp.truespeed.ca
    Port: 465
    Encyption Method: SSL/TLS


  9. Click Next
  10. Enter your email password
  11. Click Connect
  12. Select Done to complete setup

iPhone/iPad:

  1. Go to the Settings
  2. App Select Accounts & Passwords
  3. Select Add Account. 
  4. Select Other mail account. 
  5. Select Add mail account.
        Enter the following information:
        Name (display name)
        Email (full email address)
        Password (email password)
        Description (Truespeed) 
  6. Click Next 
  7. Select IMAP and enter the required fields:
       
        Incoming Mail Server:
       
        Host Name: mail.truespeed.ca
        Username: (full email address)
        Password: (email password)
       
        Outgoing Mail Server:
       
        Host Name: smtp.truespeed.ca
        Username: (full email address)
        Password: (email password)

  8. Select Next 
  9. Once the account finishes verifying, select Save. 
  10. Select your Truespeed email account and select Account. 
  11. Under Outgoing Mail Server, select SMTP->Primary Server (smtp.truespeed.ca). 
  12. Outgoing Mail Server:

        Use SSL (on)
        Server Port: 465

  13. Select Done 
  14. Go back to Account and select Advanced
        Incoming settings:

            Use SSL (on)
            Server Port: 993

  15. Go back to Account and select Done
